RETURN TO NEWS INDEX National builder plans another 1,000 homes in Pasco County Atlanta-based Pulte Group announced the new 992-site, single-family community will be coming to the Wesley Chapel and Zephyrhills area in 2024. The community will be adjacent to the Hillsborough River corridor and the Crystal Springs Preserve and will feature extra-wide homesites that offer views of the surrounding nature.
“Riverwood is a community that was ahead of its time when it was originally conceived,” Sean Strickler, West Florida division president, said in a release. “However, now it is a location that is nearly impossible to beat.”
The community is located along Highway 301 just south of the State Road 56 intersection. The original developer only partially developed the property and installed the winding entry road and landscaping in the early 2000s.
The landscaping has now created “an authentic Florida appeal not typically found in a new home community,” according to Pulte Group. The boulevard entryway is lined by 14-year-old oak and crepe myrtles.
Amenities will include a resort-style pool, cabana, clubhouse, fitness center, pickleball courts, a dog park, nature trails and shared green spaces.
Despite its tranquil setting, the community lies close to two major thoroughfares and is less than 7 miles from The Shops at Wiregrass and 10 miles from the Tampa Premium Outlets.
This is the second major project that Pulte Group is currently working on in Pasco County. In August, the group acquired more than 300 acres in Pasco for a 700-home community called Vida’s Way. |
