Largo RV park sells for $10.5 million

A recreational vehicle park in Largo has sold to a Chicago-based investor for $10.5 million.

Indian Rocks Travel Park, located at 12121 Vonn Road, has 175 sites on a 9-acre property, according to its website. The park sold on Nov. 7 to an entity linked to Edward Zeman of Zeman Homes, according to a deed filed in Pinellas County.

Indian Rocks Travel Park is a full-service RV resort with propane services, 30/50 amp electric, laundry facilities, a dump station and summer storage. The property also includes a pool. The tenant association sponsors “sports leagues, exercise classes, bingo, dinners, parties, card games,” and more, according to the website.

The site is half a mile from the Largo Golf Course and is just over 2 miles from Splash Harbour Water Park and Indian Rocks Beach. The RV park is 10 miles from the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport and 23 miles from the Tampa International Airport.

Zeman Homes owns and operates manufactured home communities, RV resorts and campgrounds throughout North America. The family-owned company was founded in 1983 and has more than 40 properties throughout the U.S., including a recent expansion into RV Resorts.
