Tarpon Springs waterfront compound sells for $4.35 million

A 13-acre property in Tarpon Springs has sold for $4.35 million.

The gated property at 741 Anclote Road includes a main house, guest house and a cabana with a guest suite and lies near the Port Tarpon Marina. The sale closed on Oct. 20, according to a deed filed in Pinellas County. The buyer was an entity linked to a Michigan-based private investor, and the seller was the trust of the Carol Martin Estate.

Scott Pickering with Coastal Properties Group represented the seller; Julie Folden with Coastal Properties Group represented the buyer.

There are seven bedrooms total on the site, according to the listing. The property includes 350 feet of water frontage along the Anclote River. The compound totals 5,301 square feet.

The main home has 18-foot ceilings, water and marina views, an open kitchen with an extensive pantry and a wraparound porch. The 35-foot by 35-foot veranda wraps around the pool and connects to the cabana with an en suite. The guest house has two bedrooms on the ground floor and a kitchen and great room on the second floor and is connected by a covered breezeway.

The home includes a three-car garage and a separate garage for storing items like golf carts and pool or boating equipment.

The Carol Martin Estate owned 20 acres along the river. The entire compound was listed at $12 million in April 2022.
