Bayway Isles waterfront home sells for $5.5 million

A waterfront home on Bayway Isles in St. Petersburg has sold for $5.5 million.

The home, located at 6152 52nd St. S, sold to a trust on Oct. 18, according to a deed filed in Pinellas County. The 5,542-square-foot home sits on an approximately 0.32-acre lot. It was built in 2006 but has undergone extensive improvements since 2021. The home features 100 feet of water frontage and a private beach.

The sales price breaks down to approximately $992 per square foot. It last sold in December 2020 for $2.9 million, according to the property appraiser.

Meltem Birey with 1 Palm Realty represented the seller in the deal, and Stephen Arters with RE MAX Alliance Group represented the buyer.

“I am most proud of the highest non-new-construction sale in Bayway Isles within the last year,” Birey said in a statement. “Despite the couple weeks lost due to the hurricane, it (only) took us seven weeks from the day of listing to the day of closing.”

The home has six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms. According to the listing, the house has three fireplaces and two offices. It was sold fully furnished and includes balconies that overlook the outdoor amenities.

The property also includes two garages with a charging station, an expansive deck and a propulsion pool. There is also a gym, two boat lifts, two Jet Ski lifts and a kayak launch.

Bayway Isles is a gated community consisting of two islands on the southwestern side of the city. The community is comprised of roughly 200 single-family homes.
