Bradenton car dealer buys Tampa's Stadium Toyota

A Bradenton automotive group has acquired one of Tampa’s biggest car dealerships.

Gettel Automotive has purchased Stadium Toyota along North Dale Mabry Highway, according to Kerrigan Advisors, which announced the deal. Kerrigan represented the sellers, the Parks and Couey families, in the transaction.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but a Hillsborough County deed filed last week pegs the sale of Stadium Toyota’s real estate at $18.8 million. Gettel Automotive secured a $16.4 million mortgage from Truist Bank for the property acquisition, according to county property records.

Stadium Toyota sits on 10.4 acres, according to property records. It ranks within the top 10% of U.S. Toyota dealerships, according to Kerrigan Advisors.

Gettel Automotive is the 57th largest U.S. dealership group, according to Kerrigan Advisors.
