Waterfront home on Davis Islands sells for $7 million

A home on the Davis Islands waterfront has sold for $7.05 million.

The 4,071-square-foot home at 88 Adalia Ave. sold on Sept. 28, according to Hillsborough County property records. The sale appears to be a cash transaction as a mortgage has not been filed.

The sales price breaks down to more than $1,700 per square foot, which Compass says is the second-highest price per square foot in Tampa year to date. Dan Kempka of Compass represented the seller; Christina Navatta Mueller of Premier Sotheby's International Realty represented the buyers.

The home was built in 2000 and has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. It has a covered terrace next to a pool that overlooks the bay; it has more than 100 feet of water frontage and sits on a quarter-acre lot. Among the amenities are a rooftop balcony and a boat lift.

The seller paid $1.824 million for the property in 2012.
