LAKEWOOD RANCH (August 21, 2023) – A new home builder has opened offices off Lakewood Ranch Boulevard and is now constructing homes in the region for budget-conscious buyers dreaming of homeownership.

SimplyDwell Homes, a new company formed by the region’s largest private homebuilder, has streamlined the home buying process to be simpler and more straightforward.

“I’m proud to be announcing our company’s opening to the local community,” said SimplyDwell Homes President Jag Rupnarain. “SimplyDwell Homes will build quality homes for working professionals and others who might not otherwise be able to afford today’s high market prices.”

With a commitment to simplifying the home buying process, SimplyDwell Homes offers homes priced in the mid- to high $300,000s, making them more accessible to those seeking to own their own homes.

The company’s home offerings will include ten different floor plans with three elevations available per floor plan. The homes will range in size from 1,300 square feet to 2,500 square feet, one to two stories and two to five bedrooms.

“We wanted to provide an attainable solution for people who want to partake in homeownership,” Rupnarain said. “SimplyDwell Homes will offer high quality and attention to detail at a price within reach.”

Late this summer, SimplyDwell Homes will break ground on seven homes just across the street from Booker High School. “We purchased the lots, which were originally the site of condemned housing, just across the street from the school,” Rupnarain said. “Our goal is to improve the area and provide beautiful homes for first responders or teachers.”

Further expansion is on the horizon, as SimplyDwell Homes breaks ground on its first planned community, Broadleaf, in Parrish. Broadleaf will consist of 266 homes at buildout, which is scheduled in the next three years. Located off Golf Course Road, the community offers convenient access to U.S. 301 and State Road 64. When complete, the neighborhood will include a dog park, pavilions and kids play areas, and it will be walkable with beautiful landscaping.

“When you purchase a new home, there are a lot of decisions to be made. It can be an exhausting and sometimes overwhelming process,” said Rupnarain. “SimplyDwell Homes offers move-in ready homes in which we have already worked with our expert designers to make those decisions. You really just pick the lot and home that fits your needs.”

SimplyDwell Homes will focus its attention on building in Manatee County first, but after will be breaking ground on a second community in Lee County called Owl Creek, which will have approximately 380 homes at buildout. In total, the company has identified six planned communities from Manatee County to Collier County.

“Many people are renting today and unable to make a home purchase. We pride ourselves on being able to offer a quality home to those currently underserved in the market,” Rupnarain said.
