RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Waterfront Davis Islands property sells for $17.85 million The 1.45 acres at 42 Ladoga Ave. sold on Tuesday, Smith and Associates Real Estate said. Smith agents Mary Beth Byrd, Leslie Minder and Dina Sierra Smith marketed the property for sale and represented the sellers, J. Rex Farrior III and Laurin Morgan Farrior.
Heidi Odio and Kerry Lather of Compass represented the buyers, who have not been disclosed. A deed for the transaction has not yet been filed in Hillsborough County.
"In the realm of Tampa's prestigious waterfront properties, 42 Ladoga shines as a true gem," Byrd said in a statement. "The fusion of its historic significance, modern amenities and unparalleled waterfront access presents an extraordinary opportunity for the discerning buyer."
The property includes three buildable lots and a 9,038-square-foot historic home that was built in 1928. It has 464 feet of waterfront frontage.
It is a larger property than baseball legend Derek Jeter's, which sold for $22 million in 2022. The $17.85 million sales price breaks down to $1,975 per square foot, just shy of the record-setting $2,137 per square foot that the sale of 78 Adalia Ave. set in 2022.
"Our team's dedication and expertise, coupled with the exceptional value of the property, have truly made this a remarkable milestone in Tampa's real estate history," Dina Smith said in a statement. |
