The Motorcoach Store has purchased an industrial property in Bradenton where the dealership intends to create a full-service storage and concierge service for RV owners.

The luxury motorcoach and RV dealership paid $18.3 million for the property, located at 5821 24th St. E, according to a deed filed in Manatee County. The sale closed on July 6, and the seller was Avon Cabinet Corp. The site will become the national headquarters for the company and will be home to The Motorcoach Club, a new service for luxury diesel RV owners.

Nick DeVito II and Brie Tulp of Sarasota-based Ian Black Real Estate represented the buyer. Steve Horn and Melissa Harris of Ian Black Real Estate represented the seller.

The 139,904-square-foot facility includes 7,500 square feet of office space and a 100,000-square-foot production area with 22-foot ceilings at the peak and 18-foot ceilings at the eaves.

The company plans to complete a multimillion-dollar renovation to create a full-service dealership with 16 service bays, an in-house cabinet, upholstery and glass shops. There will also be indoor storage available for up to 88 RVs. Renovations are expected to be completed early next year.

“We’re looking forward to making this space our own and building what will be the most advanced facility in the country for luxury Class-A diesel RVs,” Bradley Twait, founder of The Motorcoach Store, said in a release. “The additional space will allow us to offer an end-to-end experience for luxury RV enthusiasts and provide the high level of service and experience that luxury RVers have come to expect.”

The storage space will be offered to members of The Motorcoach Club. Club members will also have access to VIP service appointments and a “white-glove valet service offering RV delivery and pickup anywhere in the country,” according to the release.

For the past 13 years, the Motorcoach Store operated out of an 18,300-square-foot space at 3231 59th St. E.

“The Motorcoach Store outgrew its current location several years ago,” said Brie Tulp, RPA, sales associate at Ian Black Real Estate. “However, given the limited inventory of industrial space of this size, they had difficulty finding a suitable replacement. This property is the perfect fit, given the size, location and layout of the building.”
