Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas & West Pasco Counties expands HQ

Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas & West Pasco Counties unveiled an expansion to its Clearwater administrative headquarters on June 30.

The expansion includes a Habitat archive display, new office space, a collaboration area and a conference room. The facility is located at 14010 Roosevelt Blvd. Suite 704.

June 30 was also the end of the fiscal year for Habitat. In the past year, the organization set an affiliate record by building 73 new homes between Pinellas and West Pasco counties. Since 1985 Habitat has built more than 800 homes in the community. More than 500 of those were built under the President and CEO Mike Sutton, who has been with Habitat since 2014.

The homes are sold at no profit and are financed with a zero-interest loan. Candidates for Habitat for Humanity homes are those earning 30% to 80% of the area median income.
