AdventHealth buys more land in Riverview

The West Florida division of AdventHealth has purchased more property in Riverview, signaling the health system sees continued demand for its services in southern Hillsborough County.

An entity linked to Altamonte Springs-based AdventHealth paid $3.25 million for 4 vacant acres along U.S. Highway 301, just north of the intersection with DeSoto Road, according to Hillsborough County property records. The seller was St. Petersburg-based Salebra Investment Properties LLC, according to property records.

The property is about 1.4 miles north of where the health system is building a new $251 million hospital.

A spokeswoman for the health system's West Florida division said there are no current plans for the property.

"It's part of our long-term growth strategy in Riverview," Lauren Rozyla-Wong wrote in an email.
