Leasing for Arya apartments in St. Pete to begin this fall

A Naples developer said the first buildings in its 415-unit residential project Arya in St. Petersburg will be ready later this year.

Leasing for the development is expected to begin this fall. The project, currently under construction at 5475 Third Lane N, will have two five-story buildings, four four-story buildings and five two-story carriage homes. It is being built on just under 20 acres near 54th Avenue N and Fourth Street. The Arya will have a variety of one- to three-bedroom floor plans.

Stock Development purchased the property in June 2020 for $10.8 million, according to a deed filed in Pinellas County. The site had once been home to the Venetian Motor Home Court mobile home park. In April, the group secured an $87.5 million mortgage from CIBC Bank USA for the project, according to public documents.

The one- and two-bedroom carriage homes and the four-story apartments will have private garages on the ground floor, while the five-story buildings will have structured parking on the ground floor.

The units have smart home technology, oversized islands and a patio or balcony. Several of the residences will overlook the community’s lake. Outdoor amenities include a putting green, walking paths, dog parks, grilling areas, a car care center, a 3,080-square-foot pool with a sun shelf, private cabanas, fire lounges, pickleball courts and an entertainment lounge with a movie screen.
