RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Atlanta developer expects fourth-quarter opening for Polk County luxury apartments The project, called Alta Citron, will be located at 3020 Base Blvd., just off Highway 27 and half a mile south of Interstate 4. The project’s official grand opening is anticipated in the fourth quarter. Alta Citron will include 324 apartments with one- to three-bedroom floor plans.
“Few places are more representative of Central Florida’s explosive growth than the Highway 27 corridor in Davenport, and Wood Partners is excited to contribute to the continued emergence of this submarket with our latest development, Alta Citron,” Bryan Borland, managing director at Wood Partners, said in a release. “Alta Citron’s location offers residents a true live-work-play lifestyle, with immediate access to I-4 and walkability to nearby Posner Park.”
The apartments will have high-end finishes, and the community will have a variety of amenities, including a screened lanai that overlooks a resort-style pool, cabanas, a grilling station, fire pits, hammocks, a pet park with a pet washing station and a “tot lot,” according to the release. The clubhouse will feature a café and coffee bar, a social lounge with billiards, a 24-hour fitness center, private conference rooms, coworking space and an indoor/outdoor bar.
The neighborhood will be built near more than 870,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, according to Wood Partners. The area is a “burgeoning health care and logistics hub” and is a short drive from regional distribution centers from Amazon, FedEx, UPS and Walmart.
Wood Partners’ portfolio has 52 properties in Florida, according to its website, including Alta at Terra Bella, Alta Key and Anchor Riverwalk in Tampa, Alta Belleair and Alta Clearwater in Clearwater, and multiple properties throughout Orlando, Miami, Sarasota and other cities. |
