RETURN TO NEWS INDEX 42-story condo tower One Tampa surpasses $200 million in presales Kolter Urban, based in Palm Beach, says One Tampa is approaching $200 million in presales since opening its sales gallery less than four months ago. The tower has 225 condos priced from $1 million, ranging from 1,100 to 4,000 square feet.
One Tampa will rise at the intersection of East Twiggs and North Tampa streets in downtown Tampa where a First Watch restaurant previously stood. Kolter took legal action against the city in 2022 when it tried to block a demolition permit to make way for the tower. As part of a settlement agreement, Kolter agreed to recreate the facade of a 1920s building that was demolished.
The tower was downsized earlier this year to avoid regulatory delays. Construction is slated to begin this year and will wrap up in 2026.
“The unprecedented sales momentum of One Tampa underscores the high desirability of luxury residences throughout the downtown Tampa metro area,” Brian Van Slyke, regional president of Kolter Urban, said in a statement. “Its elevated lifestyle, idyllic location and premier services are second to none in its market, which is evidenced by the initial launch surpassing several of our other offerings in the Tampa Bay region.”
One Tampa will have a food service program exclusively for residents. A kitchen on the 11th floor will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner five days a week, available for pick up or delivery. The top three levels of the building will include two stories of estate residences and one with four penthouses, all featuring three-bedroom plus den floor plans. |
