Chicago firm buys Carillon retail center for $6M, consolidating tower ownership

The ground-floor retail condominium in a St. Petersburg apartment tower has been sold to a Chicago-based private equity firm.

Walton Street Capital acquired the commercial condo, known as Waterview Retail Center, for $6 million on Oct. 20 from Third Lake Capital, headquartered in Tampa, and St. Pete-based Echelon LLC, according to a deed filed with Pinellas County. The retail condo is 14,000 square feet and located on the ground floor of the 15-story Waterview Echelon City Center Apartments in Carillon Business Park at 100 Main St. N.
