A Pasco lagoon community is getting an Aldi

Discount grocer Aldi is planning to open a location in a lagoon community in Pasco County.

The German grocer will open its first location in San Antonio within the master-planned community Mirada. The approximately 19,400-square-foot store will rise on 1.9 acres of vacant land between Deep Marine Drive and Windy Sail Drive off of McCabe Road, according to a Southwest Florida Water Management District permit. Such applications are often the first step toward development.
