Siesta Key home sells for nearly $22 million, breaking Sarasota's residential sales record

A Siesta Key home broke the city of Sarasota’s record for the most expensive residential sale ever recorded.

The 12,000-square-foot home at 8501 Midnight Pass Road sold Thursday for $21.95 million, breaking the previous $20 million record from March 2024. The custom-built residence is called Crystal Waters and sits on nearly 3 acres with 200 feet of waterfront on Little Sarasota Bay.
