Spec mansion on Beach Park waterfront, built for big storms, has sold

A newly constructed home in Tampa’s Beach Park neighborhood sold for $9.15 million.

Devonshire Custom Homes completed the home at 16 Sandpiper Road this year, and the sale closed Tuesday at $1,344 per square foot. The five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home was built without a buyer in mind and sits on the bay. A deed for the transaction has not yet been filed in Hillsborough County records.
