Texas-born fried chicken chain to open first Manatee County location

Church's Texas Chicken will open its first Manatee County location in Bradenton.

The fried chicken chain is planning a 1,800-square-foot single-lane drive-thru store at 2815 First St. E., near the intersection of South Tamiami Trail and 301 Boulevard East, according to a Southwest Florida Water Management District permit.
