Developer plans nearly 200 workforce housing units for TGH workers

A New Jersey-based developer plans to bring nearly 200 workforce housing units to the area near Brandon.

The Michaels Organization is proposing 170 workforce housing units off Delaney Creek Boulevard to serve the healthcare workers of Tampa General Hospital. The multifamily complex is expected to break ground this fall, with move-ins anticipated for summer 2028, L.J. Tsunis, senior director of strategic assets and real estate for TGH, told the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
