New Orlando Dreamers stadium details reveal rail station, bridge concepts

The Orlando Dreamers unveiled new details about their ambitious bid to bring Major League Baseball to Central Florida, including plans for the proposed stadium’s infrastructure, location, construction timeline and potential rail and bridge connections.

The local group asked the Orange County Tourist Development Tax Citizen Advisory Task Force on Aug. 5 to consider recommending approval of $975 million in TDT funds to partially finance the construction of a stadium costing between $2.1 billion and $2.3 billion on county-owned land in Orlando’s tourism corridor.
