Developer pivots St. Pete townhouses as market shifts

A Belleair-based developer revised the future phases of its townhome development in St. Petersburg, adding more units to the existing project.

Belleair Development Group completed the first phase of the Terraces at 87th townhome project at the southwest corner of Fourth Street North and 87th Avenue North in 2024, but now wants to change what the future of the project will look like. The developer returned to the city’s Development Review Commission Wednesday to revise a previously approved redevelopment plan, seeking approval to build 132 units total. The DRC unanimously approved the modification.
