Naples developer plans downtown Tampa's tallest tower yet

A luxury hotel-condo tower proposed in downtown Tampa could become the city's tallest building.

Naples-based Stock Development, which purchased the office building at 601 N. Ashley Drive for $40 million in 2025, has filed plans with the city for a 48-story tower with 220 condos and 240 hotel keys. Those numbers represent the maximum possible plans, and the actual tower may be slightly smaller, Keith Gelder, Stock's land development president, told the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
