Developer proposes apartments on nearly 18 acres in Tarpon Springs

Nearly 18 acres in Tarpon Springs will become more than 300 apartments.

A local development team has proposed a garden-style apartment complex with 320 units off Anclote Road in Tarpon Springs, according to an environmental resource permit submitted to the Southwest Florida Water Management District on Tuesday. The project is proposed through the Live Local Act, which allows developers to circumvent local zoning restrictions if they dedicate at least 40% of the units to households earning up to 120% of the area median income.
