Water Street Tampa's second phase will feel a lot like its first, save for one major addition: shopping.

Water Street developer Strategic Property Partners has unveiled details of the second phase of the urban district, which will begin with a parking garage and a 33-story mixed-use tower. Between those buildings and a forthcoming entertainment district — separately branded but Water Street adjacent, across Channelside Drive from Benchmark International Arena — Water Street is adding 120,000 square feet of retail space, more than double its current footprint.
