Hillsborough Schools buys more land in Wimauma for future growth

Hillsborough County Public Schools has picked up more land in Wimauma as it plans for more growth in the area.

Tampa developer Eisenhower Property Group sold 26 acres at 1108 S 579 Highway in Wimauma to HCPS for $5.5 million, property records show. The transaction closed on Tuesday, according to the deed. The property is south of State Road 674 and east of County Road 579.
