Tampa Bay's first Cook Out nears opening in USF area

Cook Out’s chargrilled burgers and hand-spun milkshakes are close to opening its first Tampa location.

North Carolina-based Cook Out, a fast-food chain with locations throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, appears to be opening its Temple Terrace location soon, as signage for the restaurant has been put on the building and the drive-thru has been constructed. The stand-alone, single-tenant building with a drive-thru, formerly a Boston Market, is just over 3,272 square feet on .55 acres at 5501 E. Fowler Ave.
