Multifamily developer proposes over 300 apartments, retail in Odessa

An Alabama-based multifamily developer is proposing more than 300 apartments and retail uses in southern Pasco County.

A Southwest Florida Water Management District permit was filed for 315 multifamily units and over 12,000 square feet of retail use off State Road 54 in Odessa. Shades Creek Properties, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, is the developer behind the project. The project spans nearly 17 acres across vacant land.
