Gas station redevelopment in St. Pete's Grand Central district to begin

Construction is moving ahead on a prime corner in St. Petersburg’s Grand Central district.

Local contractor Build America Luxury Homes received a new construction permit for its planned two-story, 13,000-square-foot building at 2801 Central Ave. It will rise on the now-demolished Citgo gas station and convenience store, adding more retail and restaurant space to downtown’s corridor.
