United Cab property in North Hyde Park to become $5M wellness campus

The Tampa real estate developer that bought the old United Cab property in North Hyde Park plans to transform it into a wellness campus with space for Pilates, personal training and more.

Rocwell Investments, which bought the United Cab property in 2024, has unveiled plans for the wellness campus as part of Cass United, a redevelopment corridor that includes the developer's holdings near the intersection of West Cass Street and North Rome Avenue. The developer has filed permits for the wellness campus, which it anticipates leasing to multiple operators, said Kyle Paxton, a partner in Rocwell.
