Developer snags land for hundreds of apartments on redeveloped Sarasota Square Mall

Hundreds of apartments are planned for the redeveloped Sarasota Square Mall.

Woodfield Development, a Charleston, South Carolina-based developer, filed a permit with the county for a 355-unit apartment complex as part of the redevelopment of the former Sarasota Square Mall at 3700 Sarasota Square Blvd. The apartments will be built on 4.5 acres on the northern portion of the redeveloped site.
