Central Florida developer plans hundreds of apartments in Parrish

A Winter Park developer is proposing more than 300 multifamily units in one of Manatee County's rapidly growing suburbs.

Hillpointe submitted a Southwest Florida Water Management District permit Thursday for 355 apartments and townhomes in Parrish near the intersection of Moccasin Wallow Road and Carter Road. The community, called Sawgrass Ridge Multifamily, will span 25 acres across vacant agricultural land.
