Naples developer plans hotel-condo on downtown Tampa site

A third luxury condominium tower planned within a half-mile stretch of downtown Tampa will also include hotel rooms.

Stock Development, based in Naples, has started demolition on the office building at 601 N. Ashley Drive, which it acquired in 2025 for $40 million. Keith Gelder, president of land development at Stock Development, told the Tampa Bay Business Journal that while the tower is still in the design stages, it will include branded residences and hotel keys.
