Japanese sushi concept O-Ku debuts at Bayshore Gardens with $3M build-out

O-Ku, a sushi concept, will now debut in the redeveloped Bayshore Gardens, the South Tampa office complex that is home to its sister brand, Maru.

The Japanese restaurant signed a lease for a 5,000-square-foot space on the ground floor of 2907 W. Bay to Bay Blvd., Steve Palmer, Indigo Road Hospitality Group founder and chief vision officer, told the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The space underwent a complete build-out, with startup costs between $3 million and $4 million, he said.
