Detroit-style pizza chain SoDough Square to open in South Tampa

A fast-growing Florida pizza chain that specializes in Detroit-style pies is targeting its second Tampa Bay location.

SoDough Square signed a five-year lease with two five-year options to renew at 138 S. Dale Mabry Hwy. in South Tampa. The pizza shop is moving into a 1,000-square-foot space in a retail center that was previously home to Champion Pizza. Owner Robert Bair told the Tampa Bay Business Journal the restaurant is two months behind schedule, so it is expected to open sometime between the end of June and early July.
