Autograph Collection Hotel breaks ground on Madeira Beach after decade of planning

After 10 years of planning and surrounding development, an Autograph Collection Hotel will rise on Madeira Beach.

The condo hotel dubbed the Beachmaker will break ground Thursday morning, starting with demolition of existing buildings on the site. The 171-unit Autograph Collection Hotel is about 60% sold, and its construction marks a fourth phase of a project approved by the city of Madeira Beach a decade ago.
