Michael Jordan-backed club in Sarasota expands before it even opens

A luxury private club concept co-founded by NBA legend Michael Jordan is expanding its Sarasota footprint before opening its doors.

1000 North, a members-only dining and social club, is under contract to purchase an adjacent property next to its under-construction Sarasota location at 540 N Tamiami Trail, a move tied to strong early demand for the high-end membership model.
