Clearwater's nine-figure Bluffs development breaks ground four years after developer selection

A downtown Clearwater mixed-use development, which could be a turning point for the city, has broken ground four years after the developer was selected.

The Gotham Organization, in partnership with The DeNunzio Group and Moss Construction, broke ground on a new residential development at 100 S Osceola Ave. Monday. The construction start comes after the group secured a $160 million construction financing package for The Bluffs — a project delivering luxury residences, amenities and retail within a mixed-use development overlooking Coachman Park on the former Clearwater City Hall site. The project has spanned four years and three mayors.
