Tampa developer plans 400 home sites in South Hillsborough subdivision

A Tampa real estate developer is inching toward beginning construction on nearly 400 home sites in South Hillsborough as part of a larger master-planned community.

Eisenhower Property Group plans to bring 381 single-family homes, running from 40-foot to 60-foot lots, to Balm Grove East in Wimauma, according to site plans filed with the Southwest Florida Water Management District on Friday. The subdivision, which is part of the master-planned community Balm Grove, is located just off Interstate 75 and near the intersection of Balm Wimauma Road and Balm Road.
