Cruise terminal, superyacht marina floated for redevelopment of Port of St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg is reimagining its waterfront south of downtown, which could include a cruise terminal, superyacht marina and restaurants.

Consultants from Moffatt & Nichol presented a draft master plan for the city-owned Port of St. Petersburg at a Public Services and Infrastructure Committee meeting earlier this month. The proposed plan, which has not yet been adopted by the city, would turn the area into a mixed-use waterfront destination, intending to expand public access and maritime activity. Moffatt & Nichol is expected to refine the proposal before presenting a finalized version to city council later this year.
