TECO's downtown Tampa headquarters is officially on the market

The Sarasota developer that owns Tampa Electric Co.’s former headquarters in downtown Tampa is marketing the property to new tenants.

Benderson said Monday that it has engaged Jimmy Garvey, CBRE senior vice president, to market the nine-story, 300,000-square-foot property at 702 N. Franklin St. for lease. The building has eight floors of office space and 20,000 square feet of storefronts on the street level. CBRE is marketing the office space for lease; Benderson is handling the storefronts.
