Dunedin approves Main Street Exchange mixed-use project after three years of planning

Downtown Dunedin is set for a “huge push” now that a project three years in the making has city approval to move forward.

Dunedin-based Mazas Development received unanimous approval from the Dunedin City Commission for its mixed-use project called Main Street Exchange. The development will transform a vacant office building and parking lot at 830 Douglas Ave. into an 89-key boutique hotel, a curated food hall and market, retail space and a theater.
