Construction underway for LA Fitness near USF

Construction is underway on a nearly 30,000-square-foot LA Fitness at a mixed-use development near the University of South Florida.

New York-based developer RD Management announced Friday that ground has broken on a state-of-the-art LA Fitness at RITHM, the mixed-use redevelopment of the former University Mall on East Fowler Avenue, just west of USF. The new gym is scheduled to open this year, according to a release.
