Office building on Rocky Point waterfront sold to Miami investors

Harborview Plaza, a waterfront office building on Rocky Point, has been sold to a Miami real estate investment firm.

Banyan Street Capital paid $39.5 million for the seven-story office tower at 3031 N. Rocky Point Drive. on Feb. 25, according to a deed filed in Hillsborough County. Banyan acquired the property from Cousins Properties, an Atlanta-based real estate investment trust, which bought the property in 2015 for $49 million, property records show. The firm partnered with Lafayette Street Capital on the acquisition, marking the third partnership between the two firms.
