Last tenant to leave BayCare Ballpark shopping center as Phillies eye redevelopment

The retail center next to BayCare Ballpark will soon be completely vacant, setting the stage for a mixed-use development that is still years away.

Floor & Decor, the last remaining tenant in the shopping center next to the spring training home of the Philadelphia Phillies, will move across the highway, backfilling a former Rooms To Go Outlet and a portion of Best Buy. The move, which a source familiar with the deal said is likely to happen in the fall, is not a result of the potential redevelopment of the land but because the store’s lease ends in 2027, and there is no option for renewal.
