7 Brew coming to Sarasota

An Arkansas-based drive-thru coffee chain with a cult following is targeting its first Sarasota County location.

7 Brew Coffee will occupy a 540-square-foot building and double-lane drive-thru at 1289 S. Sumter Blvd. in North Port, according to plans filed with the Southwest Florida Water Management District Friday. Site plans were also filed with the city of North Port earlier this month for the new location. Texas-based Red Sky will build the coffee shop on about half an acre.
