St. Petersburg recommends contractor to redevelop municipal marina after previous deal collapsed

The city of St. Petersburg has highlighted who it thinks should be the contractor to redevelop the city-owned municipal marina after previous negotiations fell through.

A city evaluation committee on Feb. 20 recommended Skanska be selected for design-build services for the construction of the marina redevelopment project. The request for qualifications was posted in October, four months after the city terminated negotiations with a private company chosen in 2023. This is the third attempt in six years to revamp the marina.
