Two extended-stay hotels planned for Lakewood Ranch

Two extended-stay hotels are planned side-by-side among other lodgings along a busy interstate in Lakewood Ranch.

Candlewood Suites and Hyatt Studios are planned to both rise four stories on vacant land along Town Center Parkway, off of Interstate 75. Candlewood will have 114 rooms, and Hyatt will have 117 rooms. A Southwest Florida Water Management District permit was filed Tuesday for the hotels.
