Maine construction firm to open first Southeast office in downtown St. Pete

A Maine-based construction firm is planting its first flag in the Southeast in downtown St. Petersburg.

Landry/French Construction, an employee-owned construction firm with a strong Northeast presence, will open a new office in downtown St. Pete as it expands its services to the Southeast. Scott Hutchinson, a St. Pete local, serves as the company’s regional executive vice president for the Southeast. The firm plans to hire a few employees locally, but the initial strategy is to brand itself in the market and take on projects, which would lead to hiring more.
