Publix plans another store in South Hillsborough County

Publix Super Markets Inc. will anchor a shopping center in Waterset, a master-planned community in South Hillsborough County.

The Lakeland-based grocer has submitted plans to Hillsborough County for a 50,325-square-foot store at Wolf Creek Commons. The new Publix will rise at 3050 19th Ave. NE in Ruskin, at the intersection of Myers Glade Avenue and 30th Street Northeast. Site plans also show there will be a 2,100-square-foot Publix Liquors and an attached pharmacy drive-thru.
